A midi skirt and off the shoulder top make for the perfect little retro summer pair. In case you couldn't notice by my outfit choice, my husband and I have been rewatching a whole lot of Mad Men seasons.

 I think after seeing all of Betty's full skirts, this one (this years version of mine) was calling out to me. Not to mention I had just gotten my hair cut and it was doing this perfect retro flip.

Thanks to Lauren and Arin for going on this field trip to this amazing heart wall I discovered months ago but was always either alone or in workout clothes whenever I went past it. Not very conducive to blog photos.

I had been dreaming of wearing this combination just as soon as the weather became more spring-like. So naturally on the first day I felt naked legs was acceptable, I threw this on. And just so you know, this look was absolutely ruined Immediately after this shoot on a hot yoga (where blowouts go to die) date with my boo Lauren. She even took an after picture to prove what disarray I was in. Blogging ain't always pretty everyone.

Love Cross Body

I know it's getting warmer out but don't let these pictures fool you. They are actually from a friends wedding at Old Saint Pat's church back in October. It was a gorgeous warm day, much like what I'm hoping we will see more of soon. 

This Rebecca Minkoff "Love" cross body has been an easy favorite in the past few months. It adds tons of class to even the most basic of outfits. And it is quite the ringer for a Chanel bag, but at a much more affordable price point. I made sure to get it in a neutral color so It would remain a classic over the years. I think it would be a great addition in any color to any handbag collection. This smoke shade is my new favorite. Check out all the colors available here!

Oh boy, has life been crazy lately! Forgive me for the lack of posting but with all the home renovations and family stuff that has come up, I've been kinda MIA. Slap this cold weather on top of that and you have even more reason for not wanting to take pictures. I promise, I'll be back in full effect soon. Just one more work week of teaching till Christmas break! Hooray!
