Mirror Print Cynthia Rowley Dress

This dress was finally able to be worn a few weeks ago for the Style Chicago beauty event at Venue One.

We arrived very late because my friend Elisa (see her & her outfit details below!) and I were trying to find the location based on a foggy memory of where we though Venue One was from years past. We got wrist-banded and invited to an after party all before realizing we were in the WRONG event! It all looked fashion-y from the outside but when we went in the event was set up like a fashion show including models getting ready and everything.

Turns out if you show up at the wrong party looking like you meant to be there, no one notices. We turned around embarrassedly, walked out and had a good laugh while we walked to the correct address. Good Times!

Neon & Cobalt

Similar to yesterday, this is not the most obvious "match" in my closet but something made me want to put this striped top with this cobalt skirt. It got even better when I added in the pops of neon yellow (my favorite of all the neons) in the belt, shoes and sunglasses.

Also, if you are wondering why my hair looks so very red here, I had just dyed it the night before. Yes, attention everyone, I am NOT a natural redhead. If anyone is dying (ha) to become one, I'll even share my color secret with you right here! I do it at home myself and I use this shade. Anyone interested in trying it?

Color Combo Obsession: Mint + Neon Yellow

I found this neon yellow skirt at Target, and I immediately thought about wearing it with this mint blouse. It just so happens that I've been hanging onto this blouse just waiting for it to meet its perfect outfit match! They came together with these gorgeous J. Crew heels with a teeny pop of neon detail. Even better, I found them on major sale!
