This Boohoo dress is perfect for a night out strolling the city, especially when paired with some easy walking and on-trend lace-up sandals. I decided to mix pattern and animal print for a fun twist. I also added in these gorgeous beaded earrings that in my opinion as pretty much the twins to the nearly $400 Oscar de la Renta ones. And mine are hand made to your own color specifications plus way easier on your wallet so what's not to love?

What can I say, black and white combinations will always be my favorite easy go-to, especially when a pop of hot pink is mixed in. This ASOS scuba dress is so comfortable and on sale for under $30 right now! And for all you Bachelor fans out there, this hot pink lipstick is the same shade Kaytlin wore all season. I loved how it looked on camera so naturally I had to pick some up for myself. which leads me to the fact that I own about a million different shades of hot pink lipstick. Oops.

Hot Pink Valentine

It's not hard for me to put together an Valentine's Day outfit. I own enough pink clothing to clothe a sorority house!

I grabbed all my favorite pink and red items and threw them all together. Turns out this isn't far from something I would wear on any other day! In fact, my husband didn't even realize it was my Valentine outfit for this post till I told him. Clearly not one to shy away from color.

Mirror Print Cynthia Rowley Dress

This dress was finally able to be worn a few weeks ago for the Style Chicago beauty event at Venue One.

We arrived very late because my friend Elisa (see her & her outfit details below!) and I were trying to find the location based on a foggy memory of where we though Venue One was from years past. We got wrist-banded and invited to an after party all before realizing we were in the WRONG event! It all looked fashion-y from the outside but when we went in the event was set up like a fashion show including models getting ready and everything.

Turns out if you show up at the wrong party looking like you meant to be there, no one notices. We turned around embarrassedly, walked out and had a good laugh while we walked to the correct address. Good Times!

In all of Las Vegas, I might have been the only person wearing a blazer who wasn't a hotel employee.  

Mine however is super thin and casual. A vacation blazer if you will. It's like a slighlty structured and polka-dotted hoodie that gave me a nice little layer of warmth that was much-needed during my shopping trip over to Fashion Show Mall!

I wasn't adjusted to the time difference the first day, so I was up really early. I took a cab over to the mall and got there just as they opened. It was really nice to leisurely shop on a weekday morning. Everything in the stores was so perfectly organized, like it was all waiting just for me.

If you didn't see on Instagram, my favorite purchase of the day was a beautiful elongated vest in the softest blush shade now on sale here!

Black and White Cable

While running errands I stopped by the H&M on State Street and found this cozy sweater. Usually I find cable knit and horizontal stripes to be quite widening but I think the vertical pattern of the cable down the front helped streamline this sweater.  

Of course H&M got me in the door with their "buy one get one free knit sale" that was going on this weekend, but somehow this very KNIT sweater didn't count in the sale! Thanks a lot!
