Vegas: After a Day of Shopping

Sometimes I'm not even sure why I bring clothes with me to Vegas. After my morning of shopping I acquired this top and skirt. All in a day's work.

I can't say no to a cute peplum top and for this price, who could? Also you may remember the print of this skirt from these posts (here and here). I saw it at the H&M in Caesars Palace for $10 so I had to get it!

Light Gray Denim

I've been noticing the light blue/gray denim trend happening for spring (most influential sighting here) so I decided to jump in with this affordable pair from Zara! Definitely felt weird wearing jeans so light. Kind of reminiscent of my 80's acid wash jeans back when I was a kid.

Word of warning: This trend is highly susceptible to stains! I almost ruined mine the first day I wore them with my lip color. Careful, ladies!

Dressy Scrubs

This outfit is the result of the stress from the "collars" theme this week. It's been sitting in my closet for awhile now but never got worn because it always felt like dressy scrubs. I decided to un-nurse-ify this dress and add a whole bunch of darkness to it. I think it did the trick.
