A Night at the Theater

I have been meaning to post this outfit from last weekend. I was a little bummed that I didn't get a chance to take it in the sunlight, but inside the Looking Glass Theater on Michigan Avenue will have to do.

My husband and I were lucky enough to get tickets from a friend to go see "Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo" on press night. It was definitely as "intense" as our friend told it was going to be.

And while I'm on the subject of jewelry I can't stop wearing, I have once again worn my Jacqueline necklace c/o Anna at Lia Sophia. I said it one and I'll say it again, it really does go with EVERYTHING!

Windy Blues

As you can tell by my billowing skirt, it's a tad windy out. So windy in fact that it was pretty hard to get a picture taken with my skirt in place. At least the hat helped keep my hair from whipping me in the face.

FYI this shade of blue and I are really having a moment. I've broken out my old cobalt coat this past weekend to match with the hat. Before you know it I'll be head-to-toe cobalt. Yes, I know it was THE color a while back but I'm just now fully getting on board. Better late than never.

Double Date

This lady and I finally decided that after all the time we spend together, taking one another's blog pictures and shopping, it was time our men met. This gave us an opportunity to do another one of our favorite things: dress up!

We both scooped up a Valentines weekend deal for a dinner-and-a-movie combo that started at the State and Lake Tavern then took us over to the Wit Hotel's private screening room where we saw an old-school favorite of mine: Serendipity. 

I had a blast! Love date nights with "couple" friends!

Colors of my Love

A little late, but here are pics of my Valentines day outfit. 

I work with children so no one will mind if I go overboard with the bright cheesy colors, espically not this lady. In fact by now most of the adults I work with are used to my excepionally bright outfits. This tends to be the norm, even on non-holiday days... and that's the way I like it!

Bows & Arrows

I have always loved a good piece of bow or arrow jewelry. In fact one of my favorite and most worn items is my gold arrow bracelet I got over the summer.

Forever 21 has come out with all these these pieces that are as cheap as cheap gets by way of jewelry.  Buy em all and maybe you will work up a total of $50 to get free shipping too! Trust me, it's not too hard of a goal to meet!
