I know, I'm barely considered a blogger anymore. I'm trying. Just when were getting all settled into our new house, we had to up and leave for ten days back to Chicago for the Holidays. Sounds like a long time, I know, but it flew by! We barely even got to go to any of the places we had on our list like our favorite cuban resturant 90 Miles and our favorite Italian resturant Calo up in Andresonville.

I did get to see alot of my favorite people and stay with my two very favorite little people, my niece and nephew. We had a blast doing kid stuff like air hockey and having dance parties. We also got some quality snuggle time in too which was great. 

Now we are back and it feels great to be at the start of a new year. I'm jumping straight into another whole 30, because sweet lord, we have been eating like idiots since before we moved and its time to get back on track.

I know so many of you ask me about my whole 30 recipies and I'm going to work on my food photography to make it not all look gross because I promise all my whole 30 food is amazingly fresh and healthy and most importantly, delicious. Date night looks are are taking over this week. Being off for summer vacation is leaving a lot of time for Andrew and I to actually eat dinner together at the same place and time, which rarely happens during the school year. 

This outfit was worn on a date to the Looking Glass theater and since it was still a little chilly out, this silky trench was the perfect lightweight addition. The best part is that it's from Forever 21, so you know it's affordable.

Navy Camo

This is turning into a very trend-heavy week. On top of yesterday's black-and-white trend that is so hot right now, there is also a camo craze out there too. It has struck me hard and I wore camo 3 days this week to work.

I found this neon yellow skirt at Target, and I immediately thought about wearing it with this mint blouse. It just so happens that I've been hanging onto this blouse just waiting for it to meet its perfect outfit match! They came together with these gorgeous J. Crew heels with a teeny pop of neon detail. Even better, I found them on major sale!
