Honestly, I have this terribly bad habit of buying things and not wearing them until I find the perfect time or mood that strikes me. Usually this takes a few weeks, sometimes even months. But this particular dress has been hanging out in my closet with the tags still on it for 2+ years. I found it at the Zara sale for something ridiculous like $13 so I had to get it. The perfect night to wear it finally rolled around for my friend Erica's surprise bachlorette party last Friday.

This cape is probably my best Forver 21 find of them all. It looks like a million bucks but didn't cost over $40! I found it last year so It's no longer avaliable (but they do have this cute one right now) but I did gather up some of my favorite cape coats out there for you to shop.

Every now and then, a bad day at school results in teacher/friend Amy and I to spend our troubles away on a Target bender. This one was particularly awesome because I picked up this terrycloth dress and jacket with a hidden zip-away hood! The dress is basically a sweatshirt with genius color blocking that make you looks slimmer! Holla! And somehow this anorak that is pretty much the same color as my hair, doesn't wash me out. it comes in 5 colors online and I even saw it in camo in stores.

21 Pieces That Have Me Excited for Fall

Capes, plaid and gorgeous leather pieces have me excited for fall. Especially after attending Nordstrom's Beauty Trend Show this past weekend. I'm all about a pale hued winter coat and beautiful skin after seeing what beauty trends are hot this fall. With that being said, I'm in absolute love with Mac's Matchmaster foundation I tried and brought home with me this weekend! I am in awe of how it magically blended in with my skin tone and feels so light!

Since summer was such a huge bummer, I'm feeling sad that I barely got to wear some of my super summery pieces. Here is an outfit I put together in efforts to incorporate the colors and textures of summer in a look made for fall.

After talking with some of my non fashion obsessed yet still totally-down-for-a good-online-shopping-bender friends, I discovered that many of them have either never had heard of Shopbop or simply thought it was full of stuff that was way out of their price range.

From the moment I laid eyes on this dress, I knew it was going to be utter perfection. A retro glam look at a great price. Did I mention that this dress comes in at just under $50. Every good thing I can say about this dress wouldn't do it justice. It simply is EVERYTHING. I wore it on a date with my husband and I must have gotten 20 compliments on it which is impressive considering half of the date was in the dark in the movie theater.

The best part is that it just got restocked in all 3 sizes! Mine you see here is a medium. I urge you snap up this dress before it's gone. You wont regret it!

Being off work all summer  and going to Vegas left me with a little problem. I have more summer outfit posts than I know what to do with. I'm going to occasionally drop one in here and there in the next few weeks and hope that it leaves you with a warm sunny glow. Who knows, maybe it will even bring back some warmer temps.
