What can I say, black and white combinations will always be my favorite easy go-to, especially when a pop of hot pink is mixed in. This ASOS scuba dress is so comfortable and on sale for under $30 right now! And for all you Bachelor fans out there, this hot pink lipstick is the same shade Kaytlin wore all season. I loved how it looked on camera so naturally I had to pick some up for myself. which leads me to the fact that I own about a million different shades of hot pink lipstick. Oops.

With our Chilly summer, this long sleeve dress got multiple wears in! This time it was worn on a lady date with Jennie to Little Goat. She is the sweetest and great to talk to since we have so much in common like our love for eggs and the fact that we are both personal shoppers! Instant friends.

Bull & Bear Brunch

Before this Chicago summer is gone, I need to tell you all about this adorable brunch experience I had with some of my very favorite fellow Chicago bloggers. Lauren of the Blog Lake Shore Lady invited Emily, Blair, Maya, Soraya, Jess and I  to Bull and Bear for a build your own Mimosa party. Naturally none of us could turn her down!

Each tray came out including an assortment of juices that were as flavorful as they were colorful, fun straws and of course a chilled bottle of bubbly! 

Anyone who knows me knows that breakfast food is my absolute favorite so I had no problem enjoying some scrambled eggs while sipping on one of these pretty mimosas! If you are in the downtown area, particularly right by Merchandise Mart, stop by Bull and Bear and try out the build-your-own-mimosa special yourself!

Black & White Moto Dress

With the black-and-white trend being so on point right now, I find it so much easier to get dressed! 

Black and white always seemed too safe for a color lover like myself, so it didn't really feel like I was trying very hard. But lately I've been loving how clean and simple the look is, not to mention super easy to wear on everyone. So go on, ladies, and wear the heck out of all those black-and-white looks while it's hot.

You may also notice I'm wearing two different pairs of shoes in this post. One was school-teacher wear, and then the heels were the dressed-up tougher version.
