A Tour of Athens

Monday, August 5, 2013

As you can see we were up with (and before) the sun rise to start our tour of Athens. Our bus picked us up early and took us around to all the spots that could be easily seen from a quick hop off the bus. The last stop however was the climb to the top of the Acropolis which looks really high but is a super easy climb, I promise. There were so many amazing views that this will be a super picture heavy post. Enjoy!

Sunrise from the hotel balcony.

Found this pretty door while waiting for the busses to get sorted out.

Earrings: Sheckys Girls night out event

Panathenaic Stadium

 Parliament building.

The changing of the guards involved some very involved outfits and serious fancy footwork.

 Inside the new Acropolis Museum.

Climbing up to the Acropolis entrance.

 A view from the top!

It may not look that scary but this ledge was really high and it was very windy that day.

 Feeling my Greek heritage pride.
